Scanner

Introduction

The University Library provides three scanners free of charge, as well as Kyocera copiers with a scanning function available for a fee.

Free scanners

Greyscale scanner

A greyscale scanner capable of scanning up to DIN A2 is located on the 3rd floor of the University Library in area 31/PR.
Scans can be saved directly to a USB stick.

Colour scanner

One colour scanner, capable of scanning up to DIN A3, is available on the 3rd floor near the semester course reserve (Semesterapparat).

Paid scanners

canning is also possible on all Kyocera printers/copiers. See printers / copiers for more information.

University staff automatically receive a chip card with copy functionality.

Students can top up their chip card at the designated machines located:

  • in the Main Building (ground floor, opposite the porter’s lodge)
  • in the Gräfin-Dönhoff Building (in the foyer)

 

Scan and print with a USB stick

These instructions provide step-by-step guidance on how to scan documents to a USB stick and print from a USB stick using the Kyocera device. Both functions are subject to a charge. (Instructions in German)
