Details on the application procedure

Due to the current requirements for minimizing contact, the reading room is mainly reserved for students who are taking their exams or need to prepare for term papers and theses.

Starting Tuesday, January 26th, 2021, you can choose between two time slots each day from Monday through Friday, either from 9:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. or from 2:15 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.. During the chosen period, you can spend your working hours at the University Library.

Please keep in mind that the upper limit of people present in the reading room is 50.

If you belong to the target group described above, you can register here with your Viadrina account.

If you are unable to attend a booked time slot, please cancel the registration immediately so that other students have the possibility to move up.

When visiting the University Library, please bring your chip card to verify your identity, which we furthermore still need for Corona contact tracking.
