User number / User password

If you want to use different functions of the OPAC like renewals, reservations or interlibrary loan, you need your user number and user password.

Your user number is the 11-digit number on your library card (chip card).

Your password (it is not your HIS-password!) is your birthday in six digits without blanks or dots (e.g. 3rd April 1994 "030494"). You're able to change this password by your user account (OPAC).
You don't know your password anymore? Ask us or demand a new one (via OPAC: "Log on" or in German "Anmelden" and then "Forgot your password?" or "Passwort vergessen?"). There you have to enter your user number, and then you will receive a E-Mail with a new password.
